The West Central Region of The Arc Minnesota provides the following supports and programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the region.
One-on-one assistance for individuals and families with questions on issues such as special education services, guardianship, employment, and housing.
Workshops are held throughout the year. Topics include special education/Individual Education Plans, guardianship, autism issues, transition, housing, behavior challenges, and assistive technology.

Activities help create awareness about people with developmental disabilities, their abilities, their concerns, and their needs.

The West Central Region is active in The Arc Minnesota’s efforts to advocate on current state and federal policies affecting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This program assists eligible individuals with disabilities to find a place of their own in the community that gives them more independence and meets their needs.

These activities provide opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to come together for socializing and fun in their communities. Regular activities include dances on the 2nd Monday and the 4th Monday of each month, as well as “Games and More” nights.
The Arc Minnesota’s West Central Region is a member of and/or involved with several committees at the local level, serving children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
