The Arc Minnesota has two statewide housing programs that serve the areas of the Twin Cities Metro, Rochester, Mankato, St. Cloud, Moorhead, and Duluth.

Since 2009 Arc has partnered with the Department of Human Services to provide our Housing Access Services Program (HAS). HAS allows The Arc Minnesota to assist adults living with a disability, but without a waiver, to find and move to independent housing.

We work with each person on an individual basis to help them find and secure housing that best fits their unique wants and needs.

The HAS program has helped more than 2,800 people living with disabilities to move into their own homes over the past 15 years.

The Arc Minnesota also offers a Crisis Housing Assistance Program. It provides short-term housing assistance to people with a serious mental illness who are receiving hospital level psychiatric care or Substance Use Disorder treatment. This program is funded through a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services Behavioral Health Division. Find more information here.
