A team of 15 leaders from United Health Group shared their knowledge, experience, and best practices with The Arc Greater Twin Cities as part of the UHG leader community engagement project on September 19, 2016. The leadership group was one of 50 UHG teams supporting nonprofit organizations across the Twin Cities facilitated by Engine for Good.
The topic addressed by the team was, “How might we scale our knowledge, experience, and capabilities to support more people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.” Mike Wall, The Arc GTC volunteer Board member and Optum leader, and The Arc GTC CEO, Kim Keprios, led the group through a Mission and Level Setting exercise followed by a process to brainstorm and develop solutions that was provided by Engine For Good.
