St. Paul, MN – August 14, 2024 – The Arc Minnesota is pleased to announce that Naveh Eldar has been
appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), starting on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024. The Board of Directors made this decision during their July 26th meeting after carefully considering many excellent candidates.
As CEO, Naveh Eldar will lead The Arc Minnesota in continuing to provide essential services to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their trusted supporters throughout Minnesota. He will guide the organization with leadership, vision, and strategic direction to ensure these services remain consistent and effective.
“The Arc Minnesota Board is excited to welcome Naveh Eldar as our new CEO,” said Poppy Sundquist, Co-chair of The Arc Minnesota Board of Directors.
Naveh Eldar comes to The Arc Minnesota with a long history of leading and improving human services. He has worked in various roles such as case management, residential counseling, and supervising day programs. He also introduced a new model of supported employment in Tennessee, where he most recently served as Director of IDD Programs for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
“I am passionately interested in human and civil rights. Looking through that lens, we see that having the self-determination to work, love, travel, live independently, and even fail, is everyone’s right. The Arc Minnesota was founded to make this a reality for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am honored to lead The Arc Minnesota’s team,” stated Eldar.
Eldar is looking forward to working with The Arc Minnesota’s knowledgeable staff, growing the team, and connecting with the community to continue advancing the organization’s mission.
“We warmly welcome Naveh Eldar to The Arc Minnesota, and look forward to his leadership as we move into The Arc’s next chapter of removing barriers and increasing access for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout Minnesota,” added Maren Christenson Hofer, Board Co-chair.
