St. Paul, MN – June 28, 2024 – The Arc Minnesota, a leading organization in advocating for the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is pleased to announce its Board of Directors has appointed Jessica Thompson as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2024. Board Co-Chairs Maren Christenson Hofer and Poppy Sundquist stated “The Arc’s Board of Directors welcomes Jessica’s role as interim CEO. Jessica has served The Arc with passion and professionalism for many years. Her knowledge of the organization and steady leadership will guide The Arc of Minnesota as we transition to the next chapter.”
Jessica has been integral to The Arc Minnesota since January 2020, when she joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She has provided strategic and operational oversight to the organization, significantly contributing to its mission and goals. Jessica holds a master’s degree in Non-Profit Management from Hamline University and a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Before joining The Arc Minnesota, she served as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Youth Frontiers, Inc.
