July 27, 2021: Hero to Zero with Terri Gjerdrum, Kenny Bedtka, Susan Huffman, Karli Harguth and Cheryl Gardner-Ghionzoli
Super heroes are people too. We as people have to meet our needs using the resources we have. Join us for a fun game of “Is the Hero right” where our Super Hero friends are in real life situations and need our help and support to come up with a solution or a victory. Use your skills to help them live their daily lives using what is made available to them. Please come help them!
July 28, 2021: Know Your Rights: Protecting Your Rights When Interacting with Law Enforcement with Bridget Sabo
Have you heard that you have rights but don’t really know what they are or how you might use them? In this session, an attorney from the Legal Rights Center will talk about rights at protests and rights when interacting with law enforcement. This information will be presented in a simple and clear way that you can remember later. We will also talk about options when police don’t follow the law or violate your rights. Bring your questions!

July 31, 2021: How to Use Your Superpowers: The importance of identity, disability, and confidence in self-advocacy with Angie Guenther and Katie McDermott
This will be an interactive presentation. We will have you think about what your identity is and how your disability fits within your identity. We will also work to understand and build your self-confidence to become the best self-advocate superhero you can be!
