Why Membership Matters

As a member of The Arc Minnesota, you are an important part of our community, as we promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your membership ensures our programmatic efforts, including self-advocacy, public policy, housing, employment, and future planning are supported across the state.

Membership Tiers

Advocate: Free

• Benefits: Opportunity to submit public comments on The Arc Minnesota’s legislative agenda and position statements, your name in The Arc Minnesota’s annual report, and a digital badge for social media or email signatures. 

Champion: $35/year (Individual Level)

• Benefits: Includes all benefits of the Advocate tier, plus a membership decal sticker. 

Household Sponsor: $125/year (Up to 4)

• Benefits: Includes all Champion benefits for up to four individuals living in the same household. Households may receive up to four membership decal stickers.

Membership Year

Membership years are July through June. Renewals for the upcoming membership year are accepted starting in May. New memberships received May through June are valid for the current and upcoming membership years (up to 14 months of membership). There is no prorated membership rate. Current year members as of April 30 are recognized in the annual report issued in May.  

The inaugural membership year will span from 4/1/2025 – 6/30/2026

Membership Renewals

• Paid memberships will auto-renew upon request.
  • Membership auto-renewal payments will be processed July 1 annually. 
• Unpaid memberships will never auto-renew. 
• Membership payments will be processed July 1 annually. 
• New memberships received after April 1 will be good for the entire upcoming membership year.
