Employment

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities have often been left out of the workforce or given limited job opportunities, even though they are able and want to work in their communities. The Arc believes everyone should have the chance to find and keep a job that matches their interests, strengths, and goals. This includes working alongside people without disabilities, earning fair pay, and being treated with respect and free from discrimination in the workplace.
