The Minnesota Microgrant Partnership offers grants to people with disabilities, asking them “How could $500 change your life?” In the case of Microgrant recipient Ben, funds were used to learn how to cook from scratch in his own kitchen. He wanted to learn to cook to help maintain his health and live independently. He hired a registered dietitian to provide in-home training so he could learn to cook on his own. Now, Ben makes and enjoys a variety of healthy meals that allow him to feel better and live independently.
The Minnesota Microgrant Partnership can help you accomplish your goals related to housing, employment, or community inclusion.
