A: We’re in the home stretch of the 2019 legislative session, which is scheduled to wrap up on May 20 – if elected officials can complete their work on time without a “special session”! Many of The Arc’s policy priorities are still moving forward – including a reduction in parental fees, an effort to streamline MA-TEFRA enrollment & renewal, shared services for CDCS, a Competitive Workforce Factor to help raise Direct Support Professional wages, and more.
