Parent Connect

Parent Connect is a great way for parents/caregivers of children with special needs to connect, relax and learn about resources. Sessions include various topics of interest for all, followed by informal facilitated sharing and networking in smaller groups.

Parents/caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down syndrome, Fragile X, Spina Bifida, or other special needs are all welcome to participate. Attend any one or all sessions.

Location: Great River Regional Library — Array Room, 1300 West St. Germain
Time: Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Mid-Minnesota Down Syndrome Community

A new collaboration between Arc Midstate and the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota, Mid-Minnesota Down Syndrome Community is a group for parents or caregivers who have children with Down syndrome. Parent Voices of NAMI

Parent/Advisory Committee NAMI’s mission is to offer families of children affected by a mental illness a safe haven where they can find acceptance, hope, and education.

Dates: Meets the second & fourth Tuesday of every month

Circle of Parents

Circle of Parents’ mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect and strengthen families through mutual self-help parent support groups.

The Circle of Parents is a free, community-based support group for parents and their children. No registration required. Light dinner and children’s program is provided.
