Master Pooled Trust Enrollment and Legal Documents

Two Types of Trusts

The Arc Minnesota Master Pooled Trust offers two forms of Disability trust accounts.

1st Party trust (sometimes called a Special Needs Trust) holds the Beneficiary’s own money, often funds that come from an inheritance, court settlement or other windfall.

3rd Party Trust (sometimes referred to as a Supplemental Needs Trust) is for funds that others, such as family members or friends, deposit to benefit the Beneficiary.

Trust Agreements and Trust Joinders

The Trust Agreement is the legal document that created The Arc Minnesota Master Pooled Trust. The Trust Joinder is the document that you complete to enroll in The Arc Minnesota Master Pooled Trust.
