Why Membership Matters

As a member of The Arc Minnesota, you are an important part of our community, as we promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Membership contributions fund all of our programmatic efforts, including self-advocacy, public policy, housing, employment, and future planning. Members also strengthen our systems advocacy efforts, because greater participation in membership matters to legislators.

Recently, we’ve expanded our membership to include anyone who makes a financial contribution. Membership can be renewed annually with a gift in any amount.

Along with a new member card, you will receive new member benefits within the organization and with partnering organizations in your community. With your membership, you will receive:

• Coupons to Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store & Donation Center
• Discounted tickets to the Arc Gala
• Invitations to special members-only events
• Members-only discounts at participating partner organizations
