Parent and Family Employment Event

Wednesday May 29 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Please join us to learn from self-advocates and their parents about their employment journeys! Each family will share their unique experiences and be available to answer questions.

The panel will include several adults who have disabilities and competitive jobs in their communities. They will share their experience finding their jobs. Their parents will share their perspectives on their children’s employment journey as well. We will also have panelist who is a young adult who started her own nonprofit and is starting college soon.

Come early to have a meal with the panelists, or join us at 6:00PM for the discussion.  Register here to reserve your spot!

This event and meal are available at no cost to attendees. This is made possible through the Peer to Peer Mentor Program, sponsored by the Minnesota Transformation Initiative.
