Autism Spectrum Disorder: Info, Strategies, and Support – St. Cloud

The Autism Society of Minnesota presents a free afternoon workshop, Autism Spectrum Disorder: Info, Strategies, and Support.

 

Session 1: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Health
Discuss the comorbidity of autism and mental health by defining the common characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder and how to recognize co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression.

 

Session 2: Using Positive Behavior Supports for Learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder
In this session we will cover a variety of evidenced-based positive behavior supports to create a more inclusive environment and address specific challenging behaviors of learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
