Ask An Advocate: Microgrants Available

Q: My case manager told me I might be able to apply for a microgrant from The Arc Minnesota. Are they still available? Where can I find more information?

A: The Minnesota Microgrant Partnership offers grants up to $1,000 to adults receiving waiver services or youth 16 and older with individualized education program (IEPs), who spend most of the day with students who have disabilities. Grants assist individuals to achieve goals around competitive employment, accessible housing, and community inclusion. Apply soon; funds are currently available through spring 2019. There is a possibility more funding will become available.

Find information, watch a short webinar, and link to the application when you visit the Minnesota Microgrant Partnership page on our website.
