We’re so excited you are joining us for the 2022 Arc Gala. Your support is essential as we build on our 75 year grassroots advocacy legacy.
We have an incredible night planned full of auctions, entertainment, and celebration. Below you’ll find the schedule of events for the 2022 Arc Gala, on March 5 at The Depot in Minneapolis (click here for directions).

4:30 pm—VIP Reception
VIP ticketed guests will kick off the evening with a champagne toast. We’re raising our glasses to you!
5:00 pm—Registration opens
Start your night off by checking in the Winter Garden, drop your coat off at the coat check, and make your way to the cocktail hour.
Please have your vaccine card ready to go. If you have not received a full series of vaccines for COVID-19, you are required to have a medically supervised test within 72 hours prior to the event. Please review our full safety measures by clicking here.
5:30 pm—Cocktail hour & silent auction opens
Have a drink, chat with other gala guests, and check out all the great silent auction items available to bid on.
Masks are required when not eating or drinking, so keep it close by.
Feeling overwhelmed and need a bit of space? We have a quiet room for you to take a break and relax in. It will be open throughout the evening.
7:00 pm—Dinner
Enjoy a fabulous dinner with your party. Chat, celebrate, and toast to the night ahead!
7:30 pm—Program
Join emcee Maggie Erickson Kilgannon as she guides us through an evening of looking back at our 75 year legacy of grassroots advocacy. We’ll hear from founding families, as well as future leaders, as we prepare for a new chapter in the fight for disability justice.
Auctioneer and long time friend of The Arc Minnesota Glen Fladeboe will be leading our live auction. You’ll have the opportunity to bid on exciting adventures, fun experiences, and incredible items.

Funding from the 2022 Arc Gala will support us as we continue this work, build on our grassroots legacy across the state, and co-create communities that embrace all people. We will connect with disability activists, young people and their families so that everyone can envision a bright and full future for themselves and their loved ones.

Refresh your drink and get ready to dance! The Blue Water Kings Band will rock & roll until 11 pm.

What is up for auction?

We’ll have passed hors d’oeuvres, a dessert bar and more!
For dinner we’ll be serving:
- Duet of filet mignon with sauce béarnaise and marinated grilled chicken with tomato basil relish
- Tuscan fried gnocchi with kale, roma tomatoes, and white beans (vegetarian)
What should I wear?
The most important thing is that you feel great! The attire is cocktail, black-tie optional, so wear something that makes you shine!
What’s the parking like?
A parking garage for the Depot, including heated underground parking, is available on 5th and Washington Avenue. Gateway parking is located at 4th and Washington Avenue.
- Regular parking costs are $16 ($27 overnight)
- Valet Parking is available for $25 ($45 overnight)
Is someone dropping you off? If you are taking a ride share or taxi service, the best place to be dropped off is the 3rd Avenue entrance.
Don’t feel like driving, or need a safe ride home? Don’t forget to download the Uber or Lyft apps before the Gala!
Are there COVID-19 safety guidelines?
Our gala team is working hard to ensure that we have a safe event. We have both an in person and virtual option to allow you to join us in whatever way you feel safe and is accessible to you.
We will be requiring: A full series of COVID-19 vaccines OR medically supervised testing within 72 hours prior to the event for those without the vaccine. We require masking for all when not eating or drinking. Please attend our virtual event if you are feeling ill, regardless of testing or vaccination status.
